About Me.
I'm a young Slovenian stop motion animator, film director, screenwriter and model maker. Born 1997 in Kranj, Slovenia. After i graduated at Secondary school of design and photography in Ljubljana, i created my first short stop motion animated film Anabel (2016). In my second year of college, i created a short film Wake Up (2018) and two years later graduated at Academy of arts in Nova Gorica. My master short stop motion animated film Beyond the Face premiered globally in june 2024 at Animafest Zagreb, followed by its regional debut at the Sarajevo Film Festival.

Secondary School of Design and Photography gave me a solid start in developing my own artistic path. Despite the fact that I studied graphic design, I decided to create my first short stop motion animated film Anabel as my final project.
2016-2020
My first animated film was the reason why i wanted to learn more and develop my skills as an animator. Academy of arts was the only school in Slovenia who was providing that study. In the second year i started to develop a bachelor film Beyond The Face, that later escalated to a master degree project.

Master degree allowed me to develop and grow even more as an artist. In the second year i entered the production animation phase that lasts nine months. During that time i gained organization skills, communication skills and became a hardworking person.

Laika Studios Internship 2024 – Selected as one of only 10 candidates from a pool of 4.000 global applicants. Although I didn’t secure the top spot, earning a place among such a competitive group was a significant achievement.

Nine day workshop as part of the StopTrik festival in Maribor. Screenwriting workshop under the mentorship of screenwriter Vassilis Kroustallis and animation workshop under the mentorship of Oscar-nominated film director and animator Hugo Covarrubias.

45-hour workshop for high school students (15-18 years old) at the Secondary School of Design and Photography in Ljubljana. Created a short stop motion animated film Circus.
